Sewing 101

Our most popular class! This three-hour class will give you the foundation to master sewing. You will learn the basics of machine sewing, including threading the machine and bobbin, using different stitch settings, and adjusting tensions and stitch lengths. You will make a quick and easy pillowcase to practice your new skills. You will be using our classroom machines in this class. You do not need to bring a sewing machine with you.

KIDS CLUB - UPCYCLE

Upcycle, come and bring some old jeans or other heavy fabric. Design your project, maybe a purse or tote bag. If you want to make a bag or purse you will also need a light fabric like an old shirt to make the lining or use light weight fabric.

PJ Pants for All In this class, you can make PJ pants in any size from child to adult! Make them for yourself or as a gift. Come to class with the waist, inseam, and waist-to-floor measurements of your recipient and you will make them a comfy pair of pajama pants. We love using flannel for these!

Class Description;

Classes are held in-person unless specified as a "Virtual" class.
All classes are for ages 18+ unless they are designated "Kids".
Many classes have multiple sessions, so please check that you can attend all dates listed.


Our classes are listed with skill levels. Levels are defined as follows:

Level 1: Beginner - No experience necessary — we’ll teach you everything!

Level 2: Beginner/Intermediate - You have taken a level 1 class or equivalent. You are familiar with threading your machine or know basic knit or crochet stitches.

Level 3: Intermediate - You’ve got a few projects under your belt. You’ve made a few things and are looking to increase your knowledge.

Level 4: Intermediate/Advanced - You know quite a bit about your chosen craft and you’re ready to take it to the next level.


All Kids Club Classes are geared for all levels of sewing.  With no experience needed.

Your teen will make mom an apron for Mother's Day this year! Learn all the basic sewing skills while reading a pattern with the guidance of the instructor.
