Quilt as you go (QAYG) is a quilting method where you assemble a quilt by piecing and quilting smaller sections, such as blocks or rows, individually, and then joining them together to form the larger quilt. This approach makes it easier to manage large quilts on a domestic sewing machine, as you work with a small section at a time, and it also allows for portable quilting and the use of batting scraps.
