What you will learn - the fundamental techniques like hemming pants and dresses, as well as making other basic adjustments to improve fit. - covering more complex techniques like darting, as well as how to remove and install zippers. - fix common issues like holes and replace buttons.

Sewing with knits can be tricky! We will show you the tips and tricks of sewing with knit material and making professional-looking, beautiful knit garments. Knits are commonly sewn with sergers, but we will be teaching you how to sew with knits on your home sewing machine -- you CAN sew with knits on a home machine! This workshop is best for people who have sewn at least one garment before. This workshop is 8 hours total, split over 4 evenings. During this time, you will receive expert instruction on best practices for sewing with knits, you will practice your stitches on some knit materials, and finally, you will sew yourself a stretch jersey T-shirt using your new skills.

For youth ages 8 to 15 years old Is your child showing interest in sewing and fashion? In our free workshops, we will explore various stitching styles, learn how to sew on buttons and ribbons, and practice using scissors and pinking shears. Creating useful, fun items that kids are proud of. We will be teaching different projects monthly: bookmarks, tissue pouches, pencil cases, stuffed animals, and more.

Level 1 - Beginners Sewing Machine Classes - In this one lesson with us you will learn how to use a sewing machine, thread and make a bobbin, use the machine's stitches, function, and some available accessories. As well as how to perform a basic pant hem. Perfect for those with zero to little sewing experience looking to progress to level 2. You will be ready for any next-level sewing in-store or at home.
Level 2 - Beginner Sewing Classes - This is a perfect step up from our level 1 sewing machine class as you will implement all of the techniques learned. Using your sewing machine has never been easier! Whether you haven’t sewn in a while or have never sewn before, this class will help you get comfortable and confident with sewing!
Level 3 - Intermediate Sewing Classes - For the sewers who want to expand their knowledge and try more detailed sewing patterns, projects and techniques.
Level 4 - Intermediate Plus Sewing Classes - For the advanced sewer.
